Sonic X Theory SPOILER ALERT!

Hello theorists, It's Emma, again. Caelan is being a little lazy on the matter of actually posting anything. Anyway, time for a new theory. I'm sure I'm not the first person to believe this but here goes.

Sonic (in Sonic X) is the Project Shadow prototype

In an episode in the second season, Rouge confronts Shadow saying he isn't really Shadow the Hedgehog. If you haven't seen it here is a link to the episode, watch it and come back. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNb58MUuJBg)

If you have seen it or if you've just come back from seeing it you know that 2 pods were ejected from the Ark and niether were ever found. So here is the theory:

Out of the 2 pods, as stated in the episode, we know at least one of them was a Shadow and let's assume the other was the sealed away prototype. We know that neither was ever found so maybe they went to Sonic's world, it is possible that at that time the world's were still one-in-the-same, (season 2 finale) so the pods dissapeared shortly before the worlds seperated, in Sonic's world the two pods landed in seprate places and the beings inside emerged. One was Shadow, the more perfected of the two, who shortly afterward found a Chaos Emerald and used it to go in search of Maria, which is how he ended up on Prison Island. He learned that she might be there and went to find her. He was captured though, and was sealed away on the island.

The other was Sonic, who had the speed that Shadow lacked, but wasn't what Robotnik wanted, which is why he was sealed away. He didn't know about Chaos Control and had no other memories of Space Colony Ark, so he just settled in. From that point on, Everything we know about Sonic from the show is true. Notice that we never see Sonic as a baby or a child in the Sonic X series.( I know you do in other serieses but I'm disregarding those as they all have seperate plots that aren't cannon to Sonic X.) This is because he ws created at the age you see him in Tails' flashback, not much younger than he is throughout the series, a year younger at most.
