Hey theorists, this is Emma! If you've ever played Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, you've probably heard of the Link is Dead Theory. The theory is; When Skullkid knocked Link off his horse he actually killed him. Here's the evidence: (If you don't agree with me, don't blame me. I didn't make the theory, I'm just sharing it)

1. When you first encounter the Happy Mask Salesman as the Deku Scrub, He says," You've met a terrible fate, haven't you." Most people assume he is talking about how you became the Deku, BUT! He says the same thing if you let the moon crash into Termina and you die.

2. As the great MatPat (from Game Theory) said, "Termina, like Terminal. That isn't even a little [subtle]." And he's right. This isn't any concrete proof, but it could mean something.

3. The different areas you go to represent the stages of grief. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. a. The people of Termina deny the fact that the moon is coming. b. The king in Woodfall is angry at a completly innocent monkey when his daughter goes missing. This blind rage almost gets the poor monkey killed! c. At Snowhead Darmani bargains with you to try to come back to life so he may continue protecting the other Gorons. d. At Great Bay, Lulu is so depressed about her missing eggs that she refuses to speak. and finally e. At Ikana Canyon Link finds the General that accepts his death and gives Link the mask that allows Link to control the dead soliders.

4. A lot of the people in Termina are/look just like people Link encountered in Ocarina of Time, but what would people from Hyrule be doing in Termina? Even Skull Kid who says that Link reminds him of the fairy that taught him "That song". This probably means that this is the same Skull Kid from Ocarina of Time that you befriended by playing Saria's Song.

Thats all I've got. If you think you have a better theory about Majora's mask, send it to me at the SUBMIT page.
